"We already have a data vendor."
Good. Keep it. Company data, sanctions screening, ownership information and credit checks are valuable, and they are not what we're here to replace.
Data answers one question.
A data provider can tell you who owns a company today. It can't tell you what you decided when that owner changed, who decided it, under which mandate, or whether you accepted the risk or asked for conditions.
A screening hit is an input. What happens next is a decision, and that is where the trail tends to end: a comment in a tool, a note in a file, a conversation in a corridor.
What sits on top.
Orchestration is the service. Data from the providers you already use, and those your countries require, goes into one process. The AI reads it alongside contracts, certificates and earlier answers. A named person decides. The receipt names which source the decision rested on.
So when you change provider or add a country, your way of working stays the same. Only the source changes, and the record shows which one you used and when.
A simple way to check.
Find one hit from your screening tool last year. Now find out who decided what to do about it, and why. If that takes a while, you don't have a data problem. You have a proof problem.
